Yes, Elixir Nanoweb Strings are divine. Today is 1/30/2024.
Yesterday I drove 32 miles round trip in Chicago traffic to purchase a twice used Bristol BM-16 (more about that guitar another day) at Starbuck’s in Oak Lawn, IL. I am the third owner.
I picked it up the Bristol BM-16, tuned it, and strummed it.
Oh my goodness.
Elixir Nanoweb 11’s Were Easy on My Hands
I have been playing guitar for almost 4 months. Admittedly the fingers on my left hand are a bit stronger in depressing strings on the neck than they were 4 months ago. But these Elixir Nanowebs were beautiful.
Why was this so easy?
- This used Bristol BM-16 had very low action. Perfect.
- Erin the owner had re-stringed this guitar perfectly. Wow, I’m inspired to learn how to do it.
- Easy strings to depress.
- A very nice sound on the 6 month old strings.
“Erin, what strings did you use?”
She answered via text. “Elixir Nanoweb 10’s or 11’s.”
All my acoustic guitars (and perhaps electrics) will get Elixir Nanoweb strings.
The Great What are the Best Guitar Strings Debate
Feel free to leave a comment regarding your chosen guitar strings.
All I know is I wish someone had put these strings on my first guitar 4 months ago. Playing guitar for beginners is soooo much easier with low action, Elixir Nanoweb strings, and a neck that fits your hand well.
